Justin Willis, Owner, BEXSc, NMT, CFST II, CPFT
Justin is an Exercise Specialist and Licensed Neuromuscular Therapist who specializes in the treatment of orthopedic injuries as well as Sports Performance training. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance & Sport with a Concentration in Exercise Science/Adult Fitness and a Minor in Human Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He also holds an Associate of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Justin also completed his soft tissue therapy/Neuromuscular therapy training at the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, CO. He is certified by the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association as a Personal Fitness Trainer and holds a Colorado License as a Soft Tissue Therapist as well as being Certified as a Level II Fascial Stretch Therapist(TM). Justin developed a passion for physical rehabilitation following a car accident in 1999 which left him with a partial right side paralysis for over a year. Through rigorous rehabilitation he was able to regain his baseball scholarship in college and move on to play professional baseball. Through his personal experience with a detrimental injury, Justin learned the value of true one on one patient interaction and developed a passion for helping others overcome their own injuries. “I love being able to help patients on their road to recovery, this is a passion for me, not a job.” Following his retirement from professional baseball he worked with HealthTech Therapy and Sports Performance helping athletes both rehabilitate and perform at optimal levels. Justin also was a Neuromuscular Therapist and Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist(TM) for Prolete Therapy, an exclusive network for the professional athlete, treating athletes in the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL and PGA. In his spare time Justin enjoys working out, being outdoors, engaging in sports, and spending time with his family.
Lindsay Willis, Executive Director
Lindsay joined Teamwork at the end of 2019 after over a decade in Higher Education where she Managed Admissions for the School of Education & Human Development. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Small Business Management from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine and has completed coursework towards a Masters degree in Public Administration through the University of Colorado Denver. She enjoys combining her passions for business and client care in her role as Executive Director at Teamwork Therapy and strives to make each interaction clients have at the Teamwork facility a positive one. In her spare time Lindsay enjoys running, working out, taking care of their many animals, and spending time with her family.
Kinga Gianna, PT
Kinga is a European trained Physical Therapist with years of experience in evaluating and treating the neuromuscular system. After earning her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland, in 2011 she has steadily been advancing her career here in Colorado. Whether it be as a Physical Therapy Tech, Physical Therapist, or Assistant Director of Rehab Kinga has emphasized patient comfort and care whenever she practices.
To get her patients on the path to recovery Kinga is always looking to increase her skills in the areas of physical therapy, pain management and recovery, and it is with this goal in mind that Kinga has sought professional working experiences, educational courses and certifications in a wide variety of styles and techniques. It was during her time practicing physical therapy in the Denver Metro area that she first experienced the amazing benefits of dry needling and saw first-hand the positive outcomes this treatment can have on the musculoskeletal system.
Kinga was able to make her dreams come true and is now trained in Functional Dry Needling® through Kinetacore. Kinga is very excited to use her skills as a Physical Therapist and skilled provider of Dry Needling to help you overcome muscular dysfunction, decrease pain, and feel better!
Kinga is also proficient in corrective exercises, kinesio taping, gait analysis, evaluating neuromuscular system dysfunction, and developing treatment plans tailored to the individual.
Kinga is passionate about her work as a PT and dedicated to helping her patients achieve their goals in living a physically functional and pain free life!
Michael Miyake, BEXSc, CFST I
After spending four years serving our country as an US Army Ranger, Michael has earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He is also a certified level I fascial stretch therapist. Injured during a deployment in Afghanistan in 2012, he discovered a passion for physical rehabilitation. Making the tough decision to leave the military in 2015, he decided to pursue his passion for physical therapy and get his degree. Initially becoming a physical therapist was the goal, but after meeting his now mentor Justin and seeing all the benefits of fascial stretch therapy, he knew this was what he wanted to do. Through Teamwork Therapy he learned the significance of true one on one patient interaction. “I am excited to take what I have learned and apply it to help people.”
