Michael Miyake, BEXSc, CFST I

After spending four years serving our country as an US Army Ranger, Michael has earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  He is also a certified level I fascial stretch therapist. Injured during a deployment in Afghanistan in 2012, he discovered a passion for physical rehabilitation. Making the tough decision to leave the military in 2015, he decided to pursue his passion for physical therapy and get his degree. Initially becoming a physical therapist was the goal, but after meeting his now mentor Justin and seeing all the benefits of fascial stretch therapy, he knew this was what he wanted to do. Through Teamwork Therapy he learned the significance of true one on one patient interaction. “I am excited to take what I have learned and apply it to help people.”
