Justin Willis, BEXSc, NMT, CFST II, CPFT
Justin is an Exercise Specialist and Licensed Neuromuscular Therapist who specializes in the treatment of orthopedic injuries as well as Sports Performance training. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance & Sport with a Concentration in Exercise Science/Adult Fitness and a Minor in Human Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He also holds an Associate of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Justin also completed his soft tissue therapy/Neuromuscular therapy training at the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, CO. He is certified by the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association as a Personal Fitness Trainer and holds a Colorado License as a Soft Tissue Therapist as well as being Certified as a Level II Fascial Stretch Therapist(TM). Justin developed a passion for physical rehabilitation following a car accident in 1999 which left him with a partial right side paralysis for over a year. Through rigorous rehabilitation he was able to regain his baseball scholarship in college and move on to play professional baseball. Through his personal experience with a detrimental injury, Justin learned the value of true one on one patient interaction and developed a passion for helping others overcome their own injuries. “I love being able to help patients on their road to recovery, this is a passion for me, not a job.” Following his retirement from professional baseball he worked with HealthTech Therapy and Sports Performance helping athletes both rehabilitate Neuromuscular Therapist and Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist(TM) for Prolete Therapy, an exclusive network for the professional athlete, treating athletes in the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL and PGA.
Becca Copenhaver, NMT
Becca recently moved to Colorado from South Carolina with her family. She graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in Columbia, SC in 1999 and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for almost 20 years. Becca is skilled in both relaxation and therapeutic massages, but specializes in deep tissue massage. She also has training in trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, and Thai on the table(assisted yoga stretching).
Becca has always had a passion for helping others and learning how massage, exercise, and nutrition help keep one’s body and mind healthy. She is a therapist who understands each client is unique and strives to listen to your needs leaving you feeling relaxed and pain free at the end of every session.
In her spare time, Becca enjoys hiking and exploring her new area with her husband, 2 daughters, and dog. She also likes exercising especially yoga.
Michael Miyake, BEXSc, CFST I
After spending four years serving our country as an US Army Ranger, Michael has earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He is also a certified level I fascial stretch therapist. Injured during a deployment in Afghanistan in 2012, he discovered a passion for physical rehabilitation. Making the tough decision to leave the military in 2015, he decided to pursue his passion for physical therapy and get his degree. Initially becoming a physical therapist was the goal, but after meeting his now mentor Justin and seeing all the benefits of fascial stretch therapy, he knew this was what he wanted to do. Through Teamwork Therapy he learned the significance of true one on one patient interaction. “I am excited to take what I have learned and apply it to help people.”
